Molly is a drug!!! I am so slow and The Senate are geniuses!

I was riding the elevator last night, and there were two other guys riding as well. And one of the guys was saying how drunk he was and snorted some stuff. Then says he has never done Molly before. And then everything just clicked in my head!

I don't feel my feet on the ground!

And I feel like I'm back in the womb.

And Molly she takes me so HIIIIIIGH!!

I LOVE THE SENATE! And I miss hearing them live! Come back together soon, but do take the break you need!

Labor Day Weekend [Sep. 8th, 2009|12:19 pm]

Labor Day Weekend just keeps getting better and better.

As everyone should know, Labor Day Weekend is Dave Matthews Band at the Gorge Weekend, and of course I am there. This year was even more special. The weekend was basically our (Amanda and I) 11-month anniversary (the 7th being the official day). We drove out to Moses Lake Wednesday night after I got off work. It's where her grandparents live, and if I haven't mentioned it before, they are awesome!
We spend Thursday tubing on the lake and hanging out. Being Pho fans, and her grandparents wanting to try it, we had Pho for dinner at the new vietnamese place there. It was pretty good, but no cream puff.

Friday was load in for Dave!! I pretty much had my own gig half the day loading in the gel frames and setting up COMM for the spotlights and making sure they work. After load in, I went back Moses Lake. Delicious burgers for dinner! We then departed back to the Gorge. Having spotlight all 3 nights, I wanted to be on Dave! I knew I had to have the brightest spotlight to be on Dave, but had no idea which one was the brightest yet. I picked the same position as last year, and low and behind.....my spot was the brightest!! I GOT DAVE!!!!! A dream gig for me!!
Saturday night, my spotlight didn't want to turn on. Sucky ducky! I didn't get to spot Dave, but I got to enjoy the show with Amanda instead and get paid for it!
And when I got to the Gorge on Sunday, they tell me 3 of the spotlights are down. The one I used, the really dim one, and another. Not good. Anyway, I went up to check it out, 4 worked, and mine was still down. I fiddled around, and after few tries, I SAW LIGHT! Wahoo! Dave was mine again! So I got 5 spots up and running, the 6th one (the really dim one) I have no idea what was wrong with it. So from 3 working to 5 working spotlights, a job well done!

A lot of the new album was played and repeated through the 3 nights, but that was to be expected. #41 was glorious.

Oh Saturday night, it poured rain before the show (also poured Sunday before the show), and after the rain passed, the most GORGE-OUS rainbow came out. A full rainbow! I've never seen one before! and a second one started forming as well!

I got enjoy all 3 shows with my babers, sleep in a wonderful bed in Moses, and spot Dave!!!

It's been six wonderful months with Amanda. We celebrated it at Red Lobster. She has been craving it for the longest time! Every time there would be an ad for it, she'd say 'Red Lobster!' She had no idea where we were going. "84 dollars!?" And we had the most delicious dessert there! A chocolate chip cookie sundae. That cookie so so so so MOIST!

Today, after Amanda took two midterms, we had a picnic at Gasworks. The weather was gorgeous! We had Tub Subs and Arizona Iced Tea! Yum yum!!

Work is starting to pick up a little bit for me though! Summer should be really busy though!

This past week, I spent with Amanda in Spokane and met her family. First, we spent a couple days in Moses Lake with her grandparents. They are super and a super nice! And they live right on the lake!
And then onto Spokane for her family. I've heard about them a lot, but finally got to meet them. They are a kooky family! But I like them. Amanda's neice Skylar is 5 months old and adorable! He's not the crying baby type. And Amanda's cousins who are in 3rd grade, 1st grade and 2 years old, are a bucket full of energy! They are fun kids, but oh so tiring!

We went to a bunch of places to eat in Spokane. Frank's Diner is an old passenger train turned into a restaurant. Super delicious!!! "Dick's" in Spokane is good, but quite different than Seattle's Dick's.
Zip's Burger is what I consider similar to Burgerville in Vancouver. Twas good food! D'Lish burgers was good too; I really enjoyed their fries. I don't know why we ate so many burgers. Oh, and we went to Pizza Pipeline, which is where Amanda used to go for pizza during lunch in highschool. It was good!
And Amanda's mom made these great chicken tacos. She put the taco seasoning in the sour cream instead of the chicken. Genius!

In Moses Lake we enjoyed great home cooking. Amanda's Mac'n'Cheese, although not with the cheese she needed, but it was still delicious to me! Steak!! Noodles and shrimp, homemade Burgers, Lasagna! And for dessert, Angel Food cake, ice cream and strawberries!!

I love you babers!! Thank you for being my other half!

This one is for my babers because she says I don't write anymore.

I super love you so mucho moisty moosty moochi mucha!

Husky Baskeball season! what can I say?! Great basketball like it was from 2004-2006, when I was in the Dawgpack. Now I'm a season ticket holder with Marshall. 3 rows from the top. I would just like to move down two more rows. We can't see the scoreboard. But we are in the same section as Rugg and Cat!! (two rows behind them) There's a good chance that we're going to finish #1! We've got a game and a half lead of ASU, who we beat in overtime last night! There's are two Pac10 games left, win those two and we've got ourselves a banner!

It's been a slow slow winter season for work. Remind me to look for a winter season job next year.
